Blind Football

The program is part of the UAF's broader adaptive football development strategy and is implemented in partnership with the UAFLI (Ukrainian Association of Football for People with Disabilities).

What makes Blind Football unique? Matches and training sessions are played on a 40 × 20 m pitch. Each team consists of five players: four outfield players and one goalkeeper. All outfield players wear eye masks to ensure equal playing conditions. The ball contains internal bells, allowing players to locate it by sound. To avoid collisions, players call out "Voy!" (Spanish for "I'm going!") whenever they challenge for the ball.

Join the Team! Registration for training sessions is now open. Training is free of charge and takes place in Kyiv under the guidance of an experienced coach three times a week.
