YOUNG UKRAINIAN FOOTBALLERS SPEND A WEEK AT LEGENDARY CLAIREFONTAINE

The camp was a unique opportunity for the young Ukrainian footballers to gain new experience, train under the guidance of French specialists and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the place where the French national team prepares for its matches.

The programme began with intensive training sessions led by experienced French coaches. In addition to their work on the pitch, the boys played friendly matches and had the opportunity to exchange football experiences with their French peers.

An important part of the trip was discovering Clairefontaine - the French National Football Centre. The young footballers visited the training pitches and grounds, stepped inside the changing rooms and saw the facilities where members of the French national team prepare for their matches.

The legendary Château de Clairefontaine and the French Football Museum were also highlights of the tour. The boys saw the World Cup trophies won by France in 1998 and 2018 and learned more about the history and traditions of French football.

After several intense days of training in Clairefontaine, the participants travelled to Paris. The young footballers visited one of the city’s most iconic landmarks - the Eiffel Tower - explored the streets of the French capital and visited the headquarters of the French Football Federation, where they continued their journey through the history of French football.

The week in France was not only an opportunity for the young Ukrainian footballers to develop their skills, but also to gain new experiences, make new friends and see from the inside how one of the world’s most renowned football systems operates.

The Ukrainian Association of Football expresses its sincere gratitude to the French Football Federation for its hospitality, support and for providing the young Ukrainian footballers with such a valuable international experience.
