With the support of the Ukrainian Association of Football, 42 young footballers from the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions took part in an international youth camp held in Spain. The programme was implemented in cooperation with the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

Over the course of ten days, the players trained on modern football pitches, participated in friendly matches, and became familiar with training methodologies used in leading Spanish football academies. The participants also visited the Spanish national team museum, explored the team’s infrastructure, and had the opportunity to meet stars of Spanish football.

Beyond the sporting activities, the camp also offered a rich cultural experience. The young Ukrainians visited iconic football locations and took part in Spanish language classes, immersing themselves in a country where football is an integral part of everyday life.
The highlight of the programme was attending the international match between Spain and Georgia, which took place on 11 October in Elche.
The Ukrainian Association of Football expresses its sincere gratitude to the Royal Spanish Football Federation for supporting Ukrainian children, as well as to the regional football associations of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Mykolaiv for their assistance in organising the participation of young players in the programme.
