Young Footballers from Dnipro Completed a Week-Long Training Camp at the French National Team Base

Twenty young footballers from Dnipro, who won the nationwide “Regions Cup 2025”, took part in a week-long training camp at the legendary INF Clairefontaine - the training base of the French national team.

As part of the programme, the young athletes trained on high-quality pitches - natural, hybrid, artificial - as well as in an indoor arena. The training sessions were led by French coaches and focused on developing tactical thinking through a variety of game-based exercises and methodologies.

Over the course of the week, strong working relationships and effective communication were established between the Ukrainian players and the French coaching staff, extending beyond the training sessions themselves.

In addition to training, the participants explored the infrastructure of Clairefontaine, visited the football museum, and took part in excursions, including a visit to the château where the French national team is based.

An important component of the programme was its cultural dimension. The young footballers visited Paris City Hall, saw the Olympic flame in the Tuileries Garden, visited the Eiffel Tower, and also toured the French Football Federation, where they learned about the structure and operations of one of the most successful football associations in the world. Representatives of the Federation also visited the Ukrainian players at the training base to personally congratulate them and wish them continued success.

The project was made possible through the cooperation between the Ukrainian Association of Football and the French Football Federation. We sincerely thank our partners for their support and for providing Ukrainian children with the opportunity to grow in a safe and professional football environment.
