The “Talantikos” Children’s and Youth Football Festival is organized by the Ukrainian Association of Football with the support of the UAF Foundation. Khmelnytskyi has expanded the project’s geography, hosting another vibrant football celebration as part of the new season.
“Talantikos” is a UAF multiplatform ecosystem that brings together grassroots football, education and modern approaches to child development under a single brand.
The day’s programme was packed from start to finish. Young players moved through a series of themed stations, taking on a variety of challenges, including tennis ball, football darts, “square”, dynamic 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 matches, as well as dozens of other game formats. Each activity gave the children an opportunity to demonstrate their technical skills, quick thinking and ability to work together with their teammates.
The involvement of adults was also an important part of the celebration. Parents and coaches who had previously attended a project seminar joined the children on the pitches, taking on challenges together and supporting the young footballers. This shared energy is what creates the unique atmosphere of “Talantikos”, where football becomes an experience for the whole family and their mentors.
The project will soon continue its journey to new cities, welcoming new participants to the growing “Talantikos” community.
