U-13 REGIONS CUP FINALISTS SPEND A WEEK IN DUISBURG, GERMANY

The trip was a unique opportunity for the U-13 Regions Cup finalists to gain valuable international experience, train under the guidance of German specialists and discover new approaches to developing young footballers.

Throughout the week, the Ukrainian players trained at the Wedau Sports Centre under the guidance of German coaches, including André Pawlak. They explored new training methods and approaches while gaining a deeper understanding of the philosophy behind German football.

A visit to Dortmund was another highlight of the programme. The young footballers visited the German Football Museum, where they learned more about the history and development of football in Germany.

The participants also had the chance to visit the legendary Signal Iduna Park — the home stadium of Borussia Dortmund. For the young Ukrainians, it was an opportunity to see one of Europe’s most iconic football stadiums up close and experience its unique atmosphere.

The week in Duisburg was about more than just football. It gave the players from Nyva an opportunity to discover a new football culture, gain unforgettable experiences and find fresh motivation for their continued development.

The Ukrainian Association of Football expresses its sincere gratitude to DFB-Stiftung Egidius Braun for making this trip possible, supporting the development of young Ukrainian footballers and giving them an unforgettable experience.
