Throughout the week, the young footballers stayed at the National Football Training Centre in Mogoșoaia, near Bucharest. The girls took part in a packed programme combining football, personal development, new friendships and cultural exchange.
Each day began with training sessions, where participants honed their skills, worked as a team and gained new experience in an international environment. In the evenings, the girls took part in friendly matches, giving them the opportunity to showcase their abilities and experience the true atmosphere of an international football camp.
In addition to the football programme, the participants took part in the children’s “Football for Environment” festival, which highlighted the importance of caring for the environment through sport and teamwork.
The girls also enjoyed walks around the picturesque town of Mogoșoaia and a guided tour of one of Romania’s most famous architectural landmarks — the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.
For the young athletes, this week was more than just a football adventure. It was an opportunity to make new friends, discover another culture and once again see that football knows no borders and has the power to bring people together from different countries.
