FIRST-EVER GIRLS’ FOOTBALL CAMP IN THE TATRAS, SLOVAKIA

37 young footballers from frontline regions — Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv — traded air raid alerts and sirens for football adventures in Poprad, Slovakia.

Every day brought a new adventure:

• Friendly matches: our younger girls secured a 2–1 victory, while the older team narrowly lost a hard-fought game 4–7;
• A cable car ride to the Bachledka Treetop Walk;
• A day at the water park and a test of endurance at the ropes course.

The day ended with a visit to the stadium in Tatranská Lomnica, where the girls not only got to see the arena but also took part in a training session surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
